Lucknow Festival
The festival pays a tribute to the elegance and splendour of Awadh with
the fine display of atrs, cratfs and delicious cuisine of this land. This 10
day long event is held during the months of Nov. / Dec. The main attributes
of this festival are performances of Kathak Dance, traditional Dramas, different
Indian classical music recitals. Several other events are also organised such
as kite flying, Ikka race, cock fighting etc. that are peculiar to the Awadhi
culture.
