Harrapan or Indus Saraswati Valley Civilization
This is the formative period of Proto History, which include The Indus Valley
Civilization - one of the oldest civilizations in the world. The sites which
yielded the characteristic Indus Valley Pottery, Script (which is yet to be
deciphered), Stone
Tools along with Copper Weapons and are indentified in the area, which is spread
in 350,000 Sq. Kms. of Undivided India (now India and Pakistan). The Indus or
Sarawati Valley Cultural Sites have well-planned Cities, Towns and Villages.
The phase is known as Proto Historic period in Indian history, because the script
of this era is yet to be deciphered.
